Voices of Wandsworth:

South Asian Poetry & Performance

25 July 2026, 1:30pm

Celebrating the vibrant history, diversity, and cultural wealth of Wandsworth's South Asian community.

Experience live poetry, ancestral music, and moving stories that connect South Asian roots to modern London life. This event centres on intergenerational storytelling, showcasing poetry as a living South Asian art form with a particular focus on the ghazal.

We travel across Sindh, Punjab, Bengal, and India straight to London, exploring our borough’s collective heritage through powerful spoken word.
